Exhibited at Dutch Design Week 22

Lady in Rug is 130 KG robotic sculpture covered in 12 square meters of hand-tufted carpet and explores the boundaries of fashion, objects, the human body and it’s environment. Lady in Rug aims at humanizing the object, objectifying the body and deterritorializing creative disciplines.

Rooftop Paradise supported House of Rubber with concepting and preparations for the production of a virtual space for Lady in Rug. 4DR Studios was in charge of the production of the holograms and augmented reality.

The virtual space can be projected in augmented reality. This allows the Lady in Rug to be presented anytime, anywhere.
